Hello & welcome to the Department 56 Ring.  I created this web ring on July 2nd, 1997 to help D56 websites link together.  This is one of the best places on the entire Internet for finding fabulous Dept 56 web sites. This web ring is presented in the hope of providing Dept. 56 collectors info, great pictures, and interesting friendly people. So I hope you decide to join if you have a web site!!

      RULES

      There are a few rules for this ring.
       - If your site has adult content e.t.c. do not submit your site, it will not be added to the ring.
       - You MUST have the HTML fragment on your page before you will be inserted into the ring. 
      - It must be easy to find so we don't have to search for it. It doesn't have to be on the front page, but you must have a link to your rings on the main page and the URL you submit must be the URL the ring is on or the ring won't work. After you have the code up E-mail the Ringmaster of Dept. 56 Webring and ask her to add you to the ring. Be sure to include your Site ID Number in the e-mail message. She will probably want to look at your page to make sure it is worthy of addition and make sure the Dept. 56 Webring HTML fragment on your page is okay.

      Here is a handy new graphic that can be used for linking your main site to your page that features the Department 56 Web Ring info. Feel free to copy it and use it on your web site. You may also link the graphic to my server. The HTML code for the graphic is

       - After checking out your page, the Ringmaster will take your Site ID Number and use it to add you to the ring. You should then receive an e-mail telling you you've been added.

      That's it! You should now be able to navigate the entire ring until you make it back to your own page (although it may take a while). An easy way to make sure it is working is to go to the homepage of the person who added you and see if the next button takes you to your own page.

      Useful Information: The Dept 56 Ring has its own id, like your site. The site id is the number given to you upon registration, the ring id is "dept56".

      I go each site that wish to be entered into this ring , if any of the sites contain adult material or are not relevent to the subject (Dept 56), they will not be allowed to enter. You can't become part of the ring until you put the HTML coding somewhere on your Dept 56 page.
