| Every year Dept 56 creates thousands of general giftware items. They are most famous, as you know, for their Christmas items. Did you know they also create many different Easter items? There are of course the Snowbunnies, but the have done some other Easter animals as well. They are the annual Easter animals. Every year since 1991 Dept 56 has made a large and small version of a special Easter Animal. The have the same finish as the Snowbabies and Snowbunnies. D56 will probably continue this tradition for a while. I started to collect these in 1998. I have most of them now. I need just a couple more. Here are picture of the different animals that Dept. 56 has done through the past years. |

| Dept 56 has also created two non annual Easter animals. These two animals are not limited and did NOT come with boxes. Dealers got them in bulk, so the didn't need boxes. I would have liked to have boxes for them though! :o) Here are pictures of these two other animals. There is only the one size in each of these. They were made in 1993 and I believe they are still current. |

This is a different kind of item. It is a rabbit shaped like an egg. It has pink eyes and monofilament whiskers ! |
