Dept. 56 Display
        Showcase

Since you can't come to my house to view all of my displays, I'd like to show them to you here. I hope you will enjoy them. Most of the photos can be enlarged or some will even let you see a close up page. The displays stay up all year long, except for the Snowbunnies, Merry Makers, Little Town of Bethlehem, and any ornaments. I add the snow in the winter, and then I take it all off in the spring. This way the displays correspond to the seasons! All of these pictures have been updated on March 5, 2001, including the Snowbunny display. And now to the displays!!

        Welcome visitor #  since 3-5-01.

This display is at my grandma's house. This is upstairs in a spare bedroom. This is what I mentioned as my big display. I have 70+ houses in here. This is my favorite display. It is on a 4x7 piece of wood. I then placed styrofoam on top of that. I added all of my larger pieces (globe, all my palaces, tower, etc.) and then the other smaller pieces. I also included the animated Santa plus the animated "All Around The Park" piece. Please take a look at all the close ups! I have many close up pics of this display.

I had to add on to this display for 1999. I open the secretary shelf to add 10 houses. It gave me a lot more display room. I was even able to add the Mill Creek River pieces! Please take a look at the close up pictures!

It is now 2000. I was out of space (again) and I had many pieces left to display. I decided to add a back row to the length of the display. I raised the row approximately 6 inches. It added a good deal of display space. This is my FAVORITE display.

This is our actual Disney Display. This is at my grandma's house in her living room. We added some neat new items to the display this year! They were hand made by a GREAT friend in NC. THANKS AGAIN!!!

The Disney Parks Village featured REAL houses from both California and Florida. There are 7 houses and 4 accessories to this village. It all retired in 1996. I was lucky enough to go to Disney World and see 6 of the 7 houses. It was a super nice trip. The real building look just like these minis! I hope Dept. 56 will choose to make new pieces for the series in the future!
